Propane Fire...What??

I shot a huge propane fire yesterday. Explosions everywhere. Even the firefighters evacuated until it calmed down. I got there pretty early on so I was able to shoot before they evacuated the whole area. Kinda crazy.

My First Day

Today was my first day at MEN (Monroe Evening News). I shot a high school girls golf team whose clubs were stolen from their coaches car last week. Kid Rock and pro golfer John Daly donated a new set of clubs to the team...how weird.

Mixed tapes, soda and my camera in the passenger's seat is how I sustained myself during the 15 hour drive from Gainesville to Monroe, Michigan.

my first time driving in a double decker bridge

Flipped

I encountered this right before Atlanta on my trip to Michigan. This is the first time I shot a car crash, so I didn't quite know what to do with myself. My hands were shaking.

I was driving just like anyone else when traffic stopped. I worked my way through the cars and saw this car upside down on the side of the road. My instinct told me to stop so I pulled over and it turned out that it had just happened. There were drivers that got out of their car asking if anyone was a doctor. This woman was and was trying to see if the lady inside was alright. About 10 minutes later ambulances and cops showed up and eventually shooed me away.

I'm sure glad it's not one of those water filled convenience stores.
