A Harry Potter festival took over downtown Monroe today with costume contests, Quiddich matches, and a viewing of the new movie. People came from far and wide for the occasion. So, I decided to have some fun with it and do some portraits.

The bottom one is my favorite, for sure. But they're all great.
did you see me there? my costume was so goddamn amazing you probably wouldn't have recognized me. the last is wonderful, also like the second. nice lighting
your a mudblood - jk (rowlings), sweet stuff. did you just set up two strobes/umbrellas on the street?
ah these are great tim, best potter stuff i've seen since everyone seems to be shooting it. :)
Thanks guys. Yeah I just set up two lights with a soft box on the street. It was convenient that the costume contest and other activities were taking place right across the street from the office. So I just lugged that stuff over and set up a make shift studio. And I was thinking of you, Celia, when doing this. You weren't in the contest, but I think I saw you driving by listening to a bootlegged version of the new book on tape.
