I always get photos in my mind that I want to shoot. This was one that I had thought about for a while. It's kind of a clique photo, but it's not something that's easy to find. It's like when I was interning at the Monroe Evening News, I kept seeing dandelions. I really wanted to shoot a photo of a little girl blowing one into the air, but I never found it. At least I can check one of those off my list.

I really like the top photo. Is it considered bad taste to crop your photos out of traditional aspect ratios? Fuck it.
i know exactly what you mean ... i've got a list of images in my head like that too. this is terrific - nice crop. i wanted to compliment you on the previous "snowball" picture post, but so many other did ... so i didn't bother - couldn't resist this time tho. man, you're terrin it up out there!
Thanks, I'm usually against odd crops, cause it's usually not necessary. But my editor pointed out this crop, and I liked it. Turned out they ran in on the front page. An odd layout, but it worked alright.
